Dear Officer Simple
This is to remind you of your obligation to follow the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the land in all matters pertaining to your profession in law enforcement. When you were hired you signed an oath to uphold the Constitution; the text for that oath is as follows:
(insert text from your state Constitution, which you will find online doing a google search)
That Oath must be on file at all times along with your bond, paid for by yourself. It must be complete with no part missing and also be notarized and signed by the notary. Please take the time to review your oath. Read it carefully; make sure it is the one mandated by your state Constitution.
We are also taking this opportunity to present you with a copy of the United States Constitution. Review this thoroughly as well, keeping in mind that you are obligated to follow its rules if and when you are ordered by your superiors to ignore it. Doing otherwise could open you up to potential liabilities, including the loss of your job, incarceration and severe civil penalties.
Those who order you to ignore your obligations are putting you in harm's way.
To their shock, law enforcement officers who followed unlawful commands, violating the Constitution, have found that, "just following orders," is no defense and that that those who gave the orders would not share their penalties. Their stories are indeed sad.
Wishing you a pleasant day,
